In the UK we have only a couple of ants that are considered as pests with the main culprit being the black ant that can usually be found in kitchens or in the average backyard.
Ants use soft material such as sand as an excellent building material and when established they can be very hard to remove without complete destruction of the nest.
Our chemicals are aimed to kill the queen rather than the general workers. The active ingredient is transferred inside the nest to the queen from the workers, which increases the likelihood of success. This also means that it will take a short while for the chemicals to have the desired effect so if you do not see an immediate result do not panic!
If you are seeing very small clear ants it is likely that you have a type of tropical ant and we would advise that you call us for our recommendation on the best treatment
